SUN-E
In hot climale
Since there is sufficient sun shine and the average outside temperature is very high, Sun-E glass, which has a low shading coefficient (SC)combined with a low K-value should be used in order to reduce the transmission of solar radiation to reduce cooling cost.
Low-E Sun-E
In moderate climate
Low-E and Sun-E glass can be used in according to building energy dfficient design requirement to reduce the indoor thermal radiation that goes out for lowering the heating cost in the winter and control the thermal radiation that goes in for lowering the cooling cost in the summer.
Low-E
In cold climate
Since there is a long heating period and the weather is cold, the inside thermal radiation should be prevented from going outside and the solar radiation should be used to reduce heating costs. Low-E glass with high visible transmittance, high shielding coefficient and low K-value, should be used in this case.

LOW-E\SUN-E
Single pane: Yaohua Low-E and Yaohua Sun-E are pyrolytic(hard)coated glass and can be used as single pane with coating surface at position 2 for the best performance.
LOW-E, SUN-E
IGU: We recommend putting the Low-E coated surface at position 3 and Sun-E coating surface at position 2 in the insulated glass units to obtain excellect energy efficiency and keep the room at a confortable temperature. It is not necessary to remove the coating from the edges in IGU fabrication.
Laminating: Uncoated side should face the interlayer in the fabrication of laminated glass. It is recommended that coated side faces indoor(position4)in single laminated glass and coated side faces air space in IGU.
Tempering and semi-tempering: Since it is low emssivity coating, the technical parameters for tempering is different form regular float glass, it is recommended to adjust the technical parameters. In the tempering, the temperature of glass will be increased, keep the coating away form the roller to aviod the damage of coating incidentally.
Thermal bending: Since it is low emssivity coating, the technical parameters for thermal bending is different from regular float glass, it is recommended to adjust the technical parameters. In the thermal bending, the temperature of glass will be increased, keep the coating away from the mould to avoid the damage of coating incidentally.
LOW-E\SUN-E
Storage: Yaohua Low-E and Sun-E glasses are chemically stable and can be stored in the same way as clear glass. Storing the Yaohua Low-E and Sun-E glasses in a dry place with good ventilation is recommended. Sroring without too much tilting is recommended.
Handling: It is recommended to wear clean gloves in carrying single glazing by hand and suck the uncoated side by suckers to keep the cleaning of coated side. Avoid the stick of oils and other foreign materials on the coated surface and keep the coated side away from hard metals.
Cutting: Working table should be clean before cutting of Yaohua Low-E and Sun-E glass. The coated side should face up to prevent the coating from scratching. Volatile oil should be used for cutting and promptly cleaned after cutting.
Cleaning: First flush with water to remove the dirt before cleaning with common detergent (it would be better if flass cleaner is used), Clean again with de-ioned water and airdry.
Identification of coated surface: By rubbing the glass surface gently with finger, the smoother side is uncoated and rougher side is coated. By using multi-meter to test, the side with resistance of infinity is uncoated and the olw resistance of infinity is uncoated and the low resistance side is coated. By usingspecial coating detector instrument. Lighting of pilot light indicates coated surface.
